CBR Volunteers? Basic Training Course

Another batch of CBR Volunteers composed of twenty (20) Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and five (5) Rural Health Unit Midwives had completed a three-day Community-Based Rehabilitation Volunteers’ Basic Training Course held at Nhilmar’s Food Court, Marihatag, Surigao del Sur on April 21-24, 2009. Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Mario B. Cubil and Social Welfare Officer III/Officer-in-Charge, Mrs. Judalyn T. De Castro, together with their staff showed great support in making the training a great success. A Culmination Program on the third day was graced by the presence of Hon. Tito C. Pascual, Municipal Mayor, who gave the inspirational message and by Hon. Leo C. Navarro, Municipal Vice Mayor, who officiated the CBR Volunteers’ Oath of Commitment and awarded the Certificate of Recognition to the participants assisted by Program Director Luz C. De Guzman and Mrs. Judalyn L. De Castro, SWO III/ OIC.
